GREASE... WHY?
GREASE IT UP MUSIC cvoa was founded in Landen (Belgium) on the 30th of september 2004 to take care of the general management of artists in rock, blues and jazz, the organisation of their gigs, the production and distribution of their CD's, their merchandising, etc ...
It all started with BACON FAT and the release of their first official CD "Boogielicious Baby".
The owl in our logo - in all of his wisdom - gives us a wink and tells us that it's not that important if a band sells a hundred, a thousand or a ten thousand copies of a CD. What really matters, is that the band keeps on playing good music for the people who like it and - not at least - for themselves.

 WORKING HARD AND GROWING...
Up till the end of 2004 Grease it up Music has been very busy with the production, the promotion and the distribution of the first BACON FAT-CD and their merchandising.
In the meantime we had to invest a lot of time in the organisation of the company itself to obtain a solid base for further expansion. In 2006 we were ready to go much further, giving support to four highly talented guys from the local rockscene, THE SAPIENS. 2006 was also the year of the new Bacon Fat line-up, with Rico on drums and Ben on bass.

June 2007 brought us the new Bacon Fat album: Reinventing the Mojo. In the mean time, Bacon Fat kept on playing gigs here, there and everywhere.
October 2008 Grease it up Music organised its first big event: the Grease it up Rock Rally, a rock'n roll battle between six bands from our region. And the winner was ... J &J's Deltablues.
In 2009 Bacon Fat hit the road with the Liberty Tour. Together with Groundhog they also played at the Amphi in the Grease it up home town Landen in august.
In 2010 Bacon Fat celebrates its first decade with the Greasy Decade Tour 2010. At the end of the year they can be found at No Hype Studio to record their third album.
In april 2011 Grease it up Music is proud to announce the release of the new Bacon Fat CD "The Art of Freedom".
The Play with Feel Tour leads the band from Artisjok Soest in Holland to the Rotarock Festival in Landen and further on all over the country ...
